ST. THOMAS — Governor Kenneth Mapp will transport out of a domain currently to Washington D.C. and New York as partial of a week prolonged business outing to a mainland, Government House announced late Thursday.

C. to attend a National Association of Black Journalists Founders Reception, that is being hold during a Nation Museum of African American History and Culture on Aug 5. The 2016 NABJ and NAHJ Annual Convention and Career Fair is a premier venue for broadcasting preparation and career growth for a nation’s leaders in media, business, humanities and entertainment, and technology.
Mr. Mapp is also slated to accommodate with officials from a New York Police Academy where V.I.P.D. officers are receiving training. According to Government House, a administrator has committed to stability training and dedicating resources to crime fighting efforts in a territory. Officer training is a pivotal aspect of these efforts, reads a release.
Mr. Mapp will lapse to a U.S. Virgin Islands on Thursday, Aug 11. During his absence, Lieutenant Governor Osbert Potter will offer as behaving governor.
