LOS ANGELES (AP) — Things are a small sunnier on a Hollywood Walk of Fame following a post-mortem phenomenon of a star for John Denver.
The “Sunshine on My Shoulders” thespian perceived a walk’s 2,531st star on Friday, 17 years after his death.
Denver’s son, Zak Deutschendorf, and daughter, Jesse Belle Denver, attended a unveiling.
Denver rose to celebrity in a 1970s with a array of sunny, confident songs that enclosed “Rocky Mountain High,” ”Thank God I’m a Country Boy” and “Annie’s Song.”
He died in a 1997 craft pile-up during age 53.
Friday’s phenomenon coincided with a opening of a Hollywood muster of photos called “Sweet Sweet Life: The Photographic Works of John Denver.”
The musician’s photos will be on arrangement during Hollywood’s Substrate Gallery for a subsequent month.
