Ancient Egyptian funeral site might enclose one million bodies

Another engaging find was that a corpses seemed to be grouped together
by hair colour, with one territory containing a stays of those with blonde
hair and another for those with red hair.

The bodies, that enclosed a male of some-more than 7 feet in height, are
suspicion to be of typical citizens, rather than a kingship found during many
famous Egyptian sites. They were not buried in coffins, according to
Muhlestein, and were in fact mummified not by pattern though by a dull natural
environment.

“The burials are not in tombs, though rather in a margin of sand,” he told

“The people in a tomb paint a common man. They are a average
people who are customarily tough to learn about since they are not really visible
in created sources. A lot of their wealth, or a small that they had, was
poured into these burials.”

His group detected objects including glassware, trinket and linen. The
commentary were presented to a Scholars Colloquim during a Society for the
Study of Egyptian Antiquities in Toronto final month.
