New Mexico residents are trade with a sirocco that has crippled tools of a state and caused trade accidents and highway closures.
In Albuquerque, military contend officers responded to 178 weather-related accidents by 9:30 p.m. Saturday. About 58 concerned people with injuries.
Officials also close down a widen of Interstate 40 heading to a Texas limit since of dangerous pushing conditions.
Police orator Fred Duran says hotels along I-40 were full and had to spin people away.
The National Weather Service says it is awaiting ancestral layer totals and that sleet drifts some-more than 7 feet high have been reported.
