ATLANTA – Atlanta military are questioning after an officer-involved sharpened on Monday night left one male dead.
The occurrence began when an officer patrolling downtown Atlanta saw a Jeep pushing a wrong way, Atlanta military Maj. Adam Lee III told news outlets. When a officer attempted to stop a Jeep it sped up, struck a convey train and afterwards struck a pole. Two group jumped from a car and ran.
The motorist was arrested roughly immediately, Lee said. The newcomer ran behind a hotel and exchanged gunfire with officers. He was found passed behind a rabble bin, Lee said.
Police found a duffel bag full of pot in a Jeep. They also found dual guns in a vehicle, and one with a defunct man.
The suspects haven’t been identified, Lee said.
